After having learnt the colours, our first graders had the chance to work on a new application called 'Leo's Adventures With Colors' for further practice. 'Leo's Adventures With Colors' is an interactive application that aims at helping young learners to practise colours with a fun story and three different interactive games, the rainbow, the garden and the balloon game. Our young learners were seperated in groups. An iPad was available for each team and students were supposed to follow the instrustions given by Leo and work collaboratively on the activities. Each time students gave a correct answer Leo rewarded them by telling them 'Bravo', 'Very Good', 'Well done'. However when a wrong answer was given Leo encouraged them by telling them 'Try again'. Our students had the chance to practise and at the same time improve their listening skills. Our young learners were highly motivated during the whole lesson, they enjoyed these engaging activities and they look forward to our next project.
