After having learnt the letters of the English alphabet as well as the phonics, our first graders ended up working on a match up activity collaboratively. Our young learners were asked to work in groups and match the upper case letters of the alphabet with the lower case letters. We all know that children love ice cream. That's why the activity chosen, included different ice cream flavours with cones. More specifically, our students were supposed to choose from the different ice cream flavours, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, where the upper case letters appeared and match them with the appropriate cones with the lower case letters. Our young learners completed the project successfully and were highly motivated and engaged. They enjoyed every minute of it and they look forward to our next project.
