The students of the second class of our Junior High School had the chance to research different celebrations around the globe, describe their origins and what is special about them. Their presentations were enhanced with pictures and videos which made the process even more interesting.

For the curious minds that want to find out about unique celebrations the students compiled a long list including St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, Christmas, Easter in Australia, Potato Day, Dia de los Muertos, 4th of July, Valentine's Day, Rio Carnival, Chinese Lantern Festival, New Orleans-Mardi Gras, Holland's kite festival, Anzak Day, Ireland's Puck Fair and Chinese Harbin Ice Festival.

So, embark on this exciting journey!
