Remembrance Day is a memorial Day celebrated on 11th November. It is also referred to as Poppy Day, because these are the flowers which grew on the battlefields after the First World War ended. During this day, people recall the end of hostilities of First World War which came to an end at 11 a.m on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
The students of the sixth grade looked for information on the internet about this Memorial Day and made short presentations in class.
