Just five weeks before Christmas, a special Sunday called Stir-up Sunday, is celebrated in Britain. It is the day when Christmas pudding is made and everyone in the family stirs the pudding and makes a wish. Our 3rd grade students also found out that it is usually made with 13 ingredients to represent Christ and His Disciples and that it is stirred from East to West to honour the three Wise Men who visited baby Jesus. All the pictures of traditional Christmas puddings they found made our mouth water! We can't wait for Christmas!
