Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest. This celebration that has historical roots and cultural traditions, was initiated by Abraham Lincoln.

Our fifth graders thought of different reasons why one could give thanks. 'Thanksgiving' projects were also created on their iPads, mentioning the history of this celebration.
