Minecraft is not a new tool in the field of game-based learning. It can be used in order to promote student creativity, imagination and cooperation.

Minecraft was thus used in the English lesson by the students to create their 'Ideal city'. Our young learners teamed up and created their perfect city, which they later presented in class. As the students said, this minecraft project benefited them in different ways: it helped them learn how to create things, it triggered their imagination and creativity and they had to cooperate in order to have an excellent result. Last but not least, presenting their project in English and answering their classmates' questions, promoted their language learning.
