On the occasion of the European Day of Languages, which is held on 26 September, our young learners were given the opportunity to discuss the importance of learning foreign languages.
We tried to find and refer to several cases where a foreign language is necessary; it is definitely an asset when someone is travelling, looking for a job or wants to study abroad. What's more, we can listen to songs or watch a film without looking at the subtitles.
Games, quizes and presentations were some of the things our children did in class today. We definitely had fun and at the same time we became aware of the wide variety of languages in Europe.
