How many people live in the UK and is the United Kingdom the same place as England? What's the name of the Queen? How many states does the USA have? Where does the President live? Those were some of the questions our third grade students ventured to answer during our English lessons and, making it a bit more personal, they also talked about relatives of theirs who lived or still live in the UK and USA.
