Cambridge English Penfriends is a card exchange site through which learners from all over the world 'make friends' while learning. Our 2nd graders designed their cards based on the theme: 'My favourite season'. They drew 'moments' of their favourite season and they shared them with students from a school in Russia. While watching the cards from Russia on the iPads, our students had an interesting discussion about their favourite season and what they usually do during that season. The Penfriends activity was a way to promote communication with other schools while practising our students' writing and speaking skills in English.
