Is there a better way to get informed about the Vikings than talking with a real life explorer? Well this week, our sixth graders had the chance to talk with such an explorer through Skype in the Classroom. 

Sarah, who lives on the island of Alderney, talked to our students about the Vikings, about their way of life and their beliefs. The children had the opportunity to ask Sarah several questions about the Vikings and her trips. Skype really gave the students the chance to travel to places they cannot easily visit and of course practise their speaking skills while talking with native speakers. That was a great experience and we are all looking forward to our next Skype session in class.
