Chinese New Year's Day is the first day of the Chinese lunar calendar. This year, China welcomes Spring Festival or Chinese New Year on Saturday, January 28th.

2017 is a Rooster Year for the Chinese. It is considered to be the most traditional holiday in China. During these days, kids have to wear new clothes, the family gives money to the younger members in red envelopes and generally cook traditional food such as duck or Dumplings. They also clean their houses and sweep away bad luck. 

Projects were created on the iPads and were presented in class so as to inform our students about this so important celebration in China.
