Martin Luther King Jr. was an American minister and activist who was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement. He helped to organize the 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his famous "I Have a Dream" speech.

The third Monday of January has been nominated as Martin Luther King Day. It is seen as a day to promote equal rights for all Americans, regardless of their background. Due to this event, the students of our secondary school were shown the "I Have a Dream" speech and they were asked to talk about their dreams, their generation, the thoughts they have about life now and in the future. The students expressed their thoughts and concern about human rights and in what extent they are respected nowadays. 

It was a discussion that could never end since young people are worried about their future and are willing to express their anxiety about the days to come.
