Aesop's Fables is a collection of tales which is believed to have been created by Aesop, a storyteller who lived in ancient Greece. Our fourth graders have been working on Aesop's Fables lately within the frameworks of our English lesson. Firstly, short videos were shown to the students and later they were asked to read the corresponding fable and of course talk about its connotations.

The pupils are familiar with most of the fables and they find it really exciting that they can now read and talk about them using the English language. What is really interesting is that they are also able to role play and impersonate the different characters that appear in the fables. It is, definitely, the beginning of many more to come!
